5th motorcycle rally “Ride for peace from Amritsar to Leh Ladakh” ( June 26, 2017 to July 09, 2017) Welcome of the 5th motorcycle rally “Ride for peace from Amritsar to Leh Ladakh” ( June 26, 2017 to July 09, 2017) at Batala. This rally is started under the leadership of Hon'ble Chairman of Diocese of Amritsar & Moderator of CNI Most Rev. Dr PK Samanta Roy. Mr. Ashwani Sekhri (Ex-MLA Batala) and staff of Baring Union Christian College Batala, Salvation Army School Batala , Methodist School Batala & Some other renowned personalities of Batala welcomed and flagged off this rally from Batala. Convener of the rally Mr. Sushil Daniel & Dr. Ashwani Kansra, Officiating Principal BUC College Batala shared that the purpose of this rally is to spread the message of peace in the world and to aware the people against the use of drugs. Fifty persons on twenty five motorcycles from different countries including India, Australia & Germany participated in this rally. During the welcome of rally at Batala Mr. Daniel B. Das, Dr Vanita Roy, Prof. Sukhjinder Singh Bath, Prof. Pawan Sharma, Prof. Narinder Singh, Prof Neeraj Sharma, Prof. Harprabdeep Singh, Prof. Ashwani Kumar and other staff members of group of Baring institutes, Salvation and other institutes of Batala were present.
