The Physical Education and sports department has been working very hard to prove it’s mettle in it’s field not only to promote the players for inter college level but also for the national and international level. It has to it’s credit many international players who have won laurels for the institution and for the country.

Fencing:
At the very outset of participation in the G.N.D.U. Inter College Fencing Competition, Manpreet Kaur of B.A. begged BRONZE medal individually and got acknowledged to participate in the G.N.D.U. fencing camp for participate in the All India Inter-Varsity Fencing tournament. We congratulate her of the efforts she made to reach that level. The men team participated in the same tournament.
Athletics:
Karmanbir kaur of bagged BRONZE medal in the G.N.D.U. Inter College Athletics tournament in the discus throw event. We have hopes in her for showing more potential. The men team participated in the same tournament.
Best Physique:
Captain Singh of B.A. got honours by winning GOLD Medal in the Sr. National Best Physique tournament and securing fourth position in the G.N.D.U. Inter College tournament.
Tug-of-war
The women team participated for the first time and gave their best performance in the G.N.D.U. Inter College tournament along with the men’s team. It was very appreciable to watch both teams motivating each other to strengthen each other’s mind and enhance their physical strengths. It could be felt when the women’s team defeated the other team very easily.
Cross Country:
The men team could beat others in order to achieve the fourth position in the G.N.D.U. Inter College Cross Country tournament. They have been able to attain this position for many years and have promises to win this tournament this year.
Badminton:
The men team and women team participated in the G.N.D.U. Inter college tournament
Volleyball:
The men team participated in the G.N.D.U. Inter College tournament while won many in various local tournaments held in different places of the district.
