  Admission Procedure
Read carefully the instructions given in the Prospectus.
Fill the Admission Form in your own hand. Get it signed by parents / guardians.
Deposit four passport size photographs with the form.
Seek help from Guidance Committee for any concerns.
After filling the form get it verified by Eligibility Committee in Registrar Office.
Then, appear before the admission committee for the recommendation of admission
Get the signature of the College Registrar.
Finally, get the signature of the Principal on the admission form
Deposit the fee at the appropriate fee counter in the Accounts Office on the same day.
  Admission Rules and Guidelines
The Principal reserves the right to grant or refuse admission to any student without assigning any reason.
The students registered with the GNDU are required to write their registration no. in the column provided in Admission Form, to avoid paying University Registration Fee again.
A student admitted provisionally to any class is required to submit original certificate of lower examination passed within stipulated days of admission for issue of University Registration No., failing which the admission of the student to th college shall stand cancelled automatically although he / she might have paid all college dues. The dues thus paid shall not be refunded except security.
The Admission of compartment cases to higher classes is subject to direction of GNDU.
The students placed under Compartment of any examination of another university shall not be allowed admission to PG classes provisionally.
  Documents Needed at the Time of Admission
Four recent passport size photographs with name, class and form no. written on their back. Two photos must be pasted on admission form at the specified space.
A Character Certificate from the head of the Institution last attended for the students from other Educational Institutions.
University / Board DMC of the previous examination.
Migration certificate, in case of students from other university/board.
A certificate of class / caste from a competent authority in case of SC / BC students with proof of Annual Income.
M.A / M.Sc. student should attach attested copy of the DMC of graduation examination.
Christian students should submit a certificate of church membership from their Pastor / Presbyter.
  Eligibility Certificate
Students from other universities / boards will be admitted on production of eligibility certificate from the Guru Nanak Dev University. For obtaining eligibility certificate students have to submit the following documents:
Original DMC of the lower classes
Migration certificate from the concerned university/board.
Any other documents which may be needed for determining eligibility.
 Note : If a student fails to submit the eligibility certificate at the time of admission, he/she must get it later and pay an additional  fee as per university rules.
  Eligibility for University Examination
For Under Graduate Courses
i) A student must obtain 20% in each individual subject in house examination(s). Or
ii) At least 25% in aggregate. Or
iii) 30% marks in aggregate in the discretionary house examination.
For Post Graduate Courses
A student must obtain 25% marks in each written paper of the house examination and 25% in a seminar or 33% in aggregate of the written paper and seminars.
  Attendance Requirement
  For University Examination
A student must attend at least 75% of the full course of lectures delivered to the theory classes in each subject and 75% of the periods assigned to practical work in concerned subject. In a special case, the Principal shall have the authority to condone the shortage of 15% of the total lectures actually attended by the student and upto seven periods in each of the practical.
  Discipline Matters
Each student is issued an Identity Card which he / she must always carry and shall produce whenever asked by the college authorities. No student will be allowed to enter the college premises without the Identity Card.
The names of the students remaining absent consecutively for six lectures or twelve days in a month will be struck of from the college rolls. They can be re-admitted, if so desired by the Principal as per the college rules.
Students are strictly prohibited from using cell phones in the college. The defaulters will be fined Rs.1500/- and the phone confiscated.
Smoking and drinking are strictly prohibited at College Campus, Hostel, Canteen etc. Any student caught violating rules will be severely panalised.
Students are not to invite / bring non-scholars to the college; any student found guilty will face strict disciplinary action.
  Students are expected to focus more on academic and co-academic activities.
  Financial Assistance
One of the aims of the college is to provide education to the underprivileged and deserving students from near by villages and from economically weaker sections. Brilliant and deserving students are given full tuition fee concession at the time of admission. Students may receive relevant financial assistance from the college as well as from Punjab Government as per rules.
