BUC College Library was started on 15.Jan.1960. The college library has earned a reputation for its vast collection of books. The library building has a seating capacity for 400 students at a time and it can stock more than one lakh books. The building provides all amenities for serious reading. At present, the library has more than 1, 00,000 books on various branches of knowledge; It receives more than 100 journals/Magazines and 11 daily newspapers. Besides this, it has a good collection of maps, non-book reading material and reference books material. The library collection is well classified, catalogued and kept on OPENSHELVES in a systematic way. The students have full freedom to take any book of their choice from the shelves, read and get it issued for home use.

MA English Reading hall bas about 5000 books on criticism and is very spacious and well furnished with individual carrels for serious study. MA Punjabi section has more that 4000 books on criticism with good number of journals on language and literature. All the post graduate students are required to study for two hours daily in the library and it is part of their attendance. Library collection is updated every year. B.U.C Library is fully computerized and Wi-Fi equipped and soon all of its users are going to access E-Library facilities to enhance their knowledge.

NLIST
BUC Library is a member of NLIST (National Library and Information Services Infrastructure for Scholarly Content). This will help the students, faculty and, researchers to use the selected e-resources for their betterment.
Binding Section
The library has its own binding unit run by professionally trained binders. Students are always provided with the properly bound books.
Orientation Program
Library Orientation Program is arranged for the new students in the beginning of the session to familiarize them with various library services, sections of the library and their working. Free training to use Internet is also provided to the new students.
